Located in the southern half of Brazil, Rio de Janeiro harbors two of the world’s largest urban forests, Floresta da Tijuca and Parque Estadual da Pedra Branca, which are crossed with trails for hiking and cycling. For hang gliding and paragliding, Sao Conrado provides a perfect jumping off point. Sugar Loaf and Corcovado are high points which offer an ideal spot for rock climbing adventurers.
