We’re seeking experienced freelance quality writers who have in-depth knowledge about a particular topic, a passion about that topic and a desire to share related insights with others. Besides Rio de Janeiro we are covering several other topcis within the verticals Travel & Sports. As a freelance writer you provide a wealth of insider perspectives, helpful resources and valuable advice to our readership. You would work online as freelance writer and you can set your own schedules, giving you the flexibility to work at the time and place that’s best for you.
At some point you may take over the responsibility over a full web magazine or you continue as contributor and write articles on demand which we will publish in our web magazines. When you manage a web magazine on your own, you will research and write articles, select photo and video material, add them to the website, reply to blog comments and grow your community.
We will grant you access to our CMS (currently WordPress) and we offer the necessary support so that you will be able to manage the whole process. Once you take over the full editorial responsibility of a web magazine, we will pay you a monthly minimum amount of US$50 or a 50% revenue share of all advertisement earnings (what is higher) and you commit to add a minimum number of articles per month.

Freelance Writer Requirements
- Minimum 10 articles per month with 300-1000 words per article (if you manage a web magazine)
- High commitment towards selected topic and desire to help

- Ability to research new demanded topics
- Self-driven start-up mentality to take over the role as editor
- Multimedia experience (Photos & Videos) are a plus

They shall not be subject to the direction, control, or supervision of Pivian Media regarding time spent or procedures followed in performing services hereunder. Therefore, all freelance writers are responsible for all tax liabilities emanating from their payments and they are not eligible for any benefits from Pivian Media and waive any right to them.
